Belonging to the polyethylene's family with high molecular density, the " MATALENE " range presents remarkable slipping properties:

  • Low friction coefficient due to its " self-lubricating " surface
  • Wear Resistance by friction
  • Their high resilience ensures good impact strength
  • Good resistance against acids and chemical products, and general corrosion
  • Perfectly waterproof
  • Temperature resistance from -200 to +80°C 

 
Matalene 1000 Molecular weight = +/- 5 million [g/mol]

Basic material from our anti sticking range of linings:

  • Colour white (or black, if reclaimed)
  • Molecular Density equal or higher than 5 millions
  • Plate Sizes 2000 X 1000 mm, thicknesses from 5 to 280 mm
  • Fixing with countersunk screw with stainless steel screw and washer

 

Matalene RB (Rubber Backed)Molecular weight = +/- 9 to 10 millions [g/mol]

Easy to fit!

  • Same characteristics as the MATALENE 1000 with a rubber backed layer making it easier to fit
  • Improves the resilience
  • Application : no more use of special screws, the rubber backed surface needs only to be bonded on the metal surface which has been previously sand blasted and degreased as per all usual rubber bonding procedures.
    The bonding procedure will be the same as for classic rubbers
  • Colour green / yellow
  • Production: combination of polyethylene vulcanised on 60°Shore black rubber
  • Standard sizes : +/- 4000 X 1000 mm,
  • Other sizes available on request.
  • Available thicknesses at the present time:

    5 mm PE + 3 mm rubber
    5 mm PE + 5 mm rubber
    8 mm PE + 3 mm rubber



Cera-Matalene

  • Better resistance to abrasion
  • Same characteristics as MATALENE 1000 but reinforced by a ceramic powder integrated into the plate
  • Improving of wear resistance
  • Excellent sliding coefficient
  • Colour yellow / green
  • Standard sizes:

    +/- 2000 X 1000 mm,
    +/- 3050 X 1220 mm,
    +/- 4000 X 1000 mm,
    Other sizes on request.

- tolerance +/- 0.5 mm (thickness 6-8 mm)
- cutted, tolerance +/- 0.2 mm (from 10 mm thickness)
- pressed, tolerance +/- 0.5 mm depending on thickness (from 10 mm thickness)
